  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Provide and ensure the correct use of PPE, including gloves, masks, and aprons, as required. Staff and learners will be trained on the proper use, disposal, and limitations of PPE.
  • Cleaning and Disinfection: Implement rigorous cleaning schedules for all training environments, with particular attention to high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and shared equipment. Use approved disinfectants effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens.
  • Waste Management: Ensure proper segregation and disposal of clinical and general waste following health and safety guidelines. Waste bins will be regularly emptied and cleaned.
  • Respiratory Hygiene: Encourage covering the mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing using tissues or the elbow crease, followed by proper hand hygiene. Tissues and disposal bins will be readily available.
