Soundhealth has a Health and safety policy that describes how we intend to manage safety; who has specific responsibilities; and how these will be carried out. The Public Liability Insurance covers the event. At the site are health and safety signage and advices to ensure that anyone at the site is aware of safety control measures

Emergency routes are kept clear at all times. Any uneven or damaged surfaces are appropriately highlighted by means of a physical barrier and warning signage. All working at height is avoided wherever possible particularly when training is being conducted |
Training staff to carry out walk through visual inspection (prior to start of training) to ensure access/egress routes are unobstructed, free from slip and trip hazards and lighting levels are adequate.

Cars are to be parked safely on the main road (Great Northern Road). Any visitors are advised not to drive onto the forecourt as the parking space can be overwhelmed with cars and visibility to see other external individuals using the car park , can be limited |

Fire Safety

On every training session Soundhealth should nominate a ‘responsible person’ and carry out a fire risk assessment to meet requirements of the Fire Safety Act 2021 At Soundhealth fire safety procedures, fire prevention measures, and fire precautions (plans, systems, and equipment) are in place and working properly. Soundhealth is supported by the local O’Heap Fire services company in maintenance of firefighting equipment, citing Fire extinguishers and fire risk assessment and advice There is a landline phone to provide access to the emergency services and provide them with any relevant information about any dangerous substances at the event.

Responsible staff to inform visitors of the relevant fire risks and provide them with information about the fire safety procedures for the event.

Toilets are available (downstairs and upstairs). Signage informing the visitors are clearly displayed and regular checks conducted to ensure that sufficient toilet tissue and hand soap is available. The toilets are fitted with automatic hand dryers and the female toilet has a sanitary (nappy) disposal system which is collected by Cathedral Hygienic company every week. There is an available of hand sanitisers and cleaning materials for infections control
