Gastrostomy Tube (PEG RIG)


This course offers specialised training in the care and management of patients with Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) and Radiologically Inserted Gastrostomy (RIG) feeding tubes. It focuses on safe practices and patient care.

This course is ideal for healthcare professionals, including nurses and caregivers, responsible for the care of patients with PEG/RIG feeding tubes.

Assessment: Practical demonstrations and written assessment

Certification:

Participants will receive a PEG / RIG Management Certificate upon successful completion, valid for 2 years.

 

Healthcare Legislations including MHA 1983, MCA 2005, Health and Social Care Act 2008.
